The gameplay is much similar to the earlier games released in Naruto Shippuden Games. The players fight against the other opponents in 3D arenas. On the other hand, Wall Run features have now been added to the game. Players now can fight in the arenas as well as on the walls of each stage. Meanwhile, the previous features to select the difficulty levels of the fights have been removed.
A new addition is that one character can fight on the wall and others can be on the ground. The players now can switch between the characters during the fights.
